Recently, the U.S. government stirred up controversy when it introduced a requirement that foreign nationals provide their social media handles whenever applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa at a U.S. Consulate (or Consular Section). Now, the government is implementing this requirement for a range of other immigration benefits, including Immigrant Visas.
