Updated: Jan 14, 2021

As of July 15, 2020, U.S. Visa Services have begun resuming as Foreign Service Employees continue to gradually return to the U.S. missions around the world. The U.S. Embassy in Paris has resumed providing various services for U.S. citizens, including U.S. passport applications, consular reporting of births abroad, and Notarizations. Additionally, the U.S. Embassy in Singapore will resume limited consular operations, including some immigrant and non-immigrant visa services, on July 27, 2020. We will continue to provide updates on U.S. consular reopenings around the world. See "Good news for foreigners waiting for visas, as U.S. embassies resume some services"
